Addus HomeCare is seeking an entry-level Direct Support Professional to help seniors and people with disabilities live independently. You will follow care plans, assist with daily activities, and support transportation and meal prep in a flexible schedule environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year of in-home care experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and follow care plans.

Responsibilities

• Follow a care plan for the member and report on completed tasks.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, etc.).
• Support routine house cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Transport members to appointments and errands.
• Assist with self-administration of medications (no dosing).
• Observe and report changes in member condition.
