Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey is hiring Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in home and community settings. You will work one-on-one to promote independence, document services, and collaborate with a care team to ensure ISP goals are met.

We offer flexible hours and local cases across New Jersey with a supportive team and growth opportunities within a DDD-focused agency. Pay ranges from $18 to $24 per hour based on experience and case assignment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Prior caregiving, DSP, or human services experience preferred but not required.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP.
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support.
