Job summary

Howry Residential Services seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to ensure client supervision per Risk Management Plans, assist with daily living activities, document progress, and respond to service needs while upholding policies.

This role may be full-time or part-time, with duties spanning health, safety, and community integration, including meal prep and transport as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• One year experience serving people in adult foster care is preferred.
• Eligible as determined by the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and Department of Human Services.
• Valid driver's license and driving record may be required.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily living activities and document client progress.
• Implement client daily schedules and behavior plans; provide feedback to supervisor.
• Ensure health and safety tasks, assist with meals, and household chores as appropriate.
• Support community integration and assist with transportation as needed.
• Document activities in the Daily Log and maintain program logs.
