Job summary

Harry Meyering Center, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities in home and community settings. The role provides direct care, assistance with personal cares, and participation in meaningful activities to promote independence and safety.

The position is located in the Mankato, MN area with multiple sites. Flexible 8–40 hour weeks, every other weekend and some holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Willingness to learn and attention to detail are essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, individualized care to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with personal cares and daily activities.
• Engage in community activities and household tasks to promote independence.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and follow health and safety policies.
