Job summary

Vista Care is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our operations team. The DSP will work under the Residential Shift Supervisor to support individuals with daily living activities, meal preparation, and a safe, clean living environment.

Responsibilities include charting, following BSP/ISP plans, and ensuring rights and dignity of those served. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Reads, writes, and comprehends English to document requirements.
• Demonstrates effective communication in interactions with staff and individuals served.
• Maintains professional, respectful teamwork with colleagues and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Follow Vista Care policies and shift duties.
• Maintain a clean, safe living environment and assist with daily living activities.
• Assist with meal planning, preparation, and medication administration per policy.
• Document all logs, charts, and care plans in a timely manner.
• Provide compassionate, person-centered support to individuals served.
