Catholic Charities of Baltimore in Millersville, MD seeks a Direct Support Professional to assist adults with developmental disabilities. The DSP will support daily routines, meals, and personal care, promoting dignity and independence.

You will build relationships, communicate effectively, and advocate for residents’ rights in a trauma-informed setting. The role emphasizes patience, reliability, and teamwork within a caring community, with a schedule including weekends and opportunities to grow

PAY RANGE: $20.00-$23.50 per hour (Depending on years of experience)

As a Direct Support Professional, you’ll build trusted relationships and provide personalized support that honors each person’s strengths, choices, and goals. At Gallagher Services - a Catholic Charities program, we believe that every person deserves a life filled with meaning, independence, and relationships that matter. We are seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) who values people for who they are and is excited to walk alongside adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities as they engage in the activities they love and pursue their goals.

Work Schedule

Every other weekend Saturday-Sunday 9 AM - 9 PM

A Day in the Life

You’ll spend your days assisting with care to a group of people who enjoy:

How You’ll Support

Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Valid driver’s license with at least 2 years of driving experience and no more than 3 points
• Comfortable driving agency vehicles and assisting people who use wheelchairs
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds, stand for long periods, and provide physical assistance when needed
• Completion of Medication Technician Training Program (or willingness to complete)
