Merakey is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide direct, individualized care in a residential setting. You will support daily living activities, promote skill development, and help create a safe and engaging environment for residents.

Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, implementing treatment and behavior plans, supporting community activities, documenting progress, and collaborating with the care team.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old
• High School diploma/G.E.D. preferred
• Related experience is helpful
• Valid driver’s license required

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, individualized care to residents in a residential setting.
• Assist with daily living activities and promote skill development.
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and engaging environment.
• Assist with personal care and implement treatment and behavior plans.
• Support recreational and community activities and document resident progress.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and participate in ongoing training and staff meetings.
• Help maintain residents’ living spaces and transport residents to activities.
