Responsibilities

• Help the student off the school bus daily and assist after school.
• Support activities in home and community outings, parks, restaurants, movies, swimming, Get Air.
• Ensure safe transportation and supervise activities during community outings.

Self-Direction DSP - Liverpool Ny Area (Job #ES-JA)He is a school aged boy who just entered middle school. He is happy, active and pretty easy-going, he has been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.Hours: Up to 18 hours per week, 3pm to 5pm would be ideal hours. Looking for someone who can get him off the school bus daily.Days: Monday to FridayService can take place in both the home and in the community. He enjoys outings to different parks, restaurants, seeing movies, swimming, and going to Get Air. He also enjoys watching videos on his tablet.Experience is preferred, as well as being responsible, on time and very hands on DSP.Location: Village of LiverpoolPay rate: $22.50 per hour, with mileage and staff activity reimbursementsMust have a valid driver's licenseMust be at least 18 years oldEffective communication and organizational skills required.Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time.Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred.Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by Indera's technology policy.
