Job summary

LOGAN Community Resources, Inc. seeks a Direct Support Professional to work with individuals with developmental disabilities across LOGAN facilities and in the community.

You will support clients in pursuing activities of their choice, promote independence, and document progress daily. You will foster respectful, patient care, assist with daily routines, enable participation in community outings, and collaborate with families and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of experience with clients with developmental disabilities required.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance may be required for driving roles.
• Excellent oral and written communication required.
• Competent computer skills and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities and community integration.
• Document service records, incident reports, and goal data daily.
• Administer medications per agency policy (training provided).
• Ensure health and safety of clients and a safe environment.
• Engage families, providers, and visitors in service areas.
