Job summary

Emmaus Community of Pittsburgh is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist residents in daily routines, help them build skills and relationships, and participate in activities at home and throughout the community. No experience is required – training and support are provided to help you feel confident in the role.

This full-time position offers a starting hourly wage of $17.00 to $22.29, plus a $2,000 hiring bonus. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or higher education is required.
• Driver’s license is required.
• Act 34 and FBI clearances are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Plan menus, shop for groceries, and prepare meals aligned with dietary needs.
• Support residents in building skills, goals, and community participation.
• Document progress and collaborate with the team under supervision.
