Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC in Mocksville, NC is hiring a Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and those facing mental health or substance use challenges. You will support individuals in the community and help implement Centered Plans to achieve personal outcomes.

We offer varied shifts, a $3,000 sign-on bonus for full-time, $1,500 for part-time, and benefits including paid time off, health insurance, 401(k), and wellbeing programs.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid drivers’ license.
• Physical requirements to perform essential functions include lifting up to 70 lbs and being able to squat, bend, kneel, crawl, and stand.
• Pre-employment screening, including background checks (OIG, Child Abuse Registry, and checks of other registries).
• Education verification and other credentialing as required for the position.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Health and Safety Procedures.
• Assist with People Supported Development.
• Assist with Person Supported Community Life.
• Provide Support to team members and supervisors.
• Assist with person centered plan and outcomes.
• Assist with medical requests.
• Assist with data collection and reporting.
