Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC is hiring a Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with disabilities in community-based settings. The role includes education on rights, promoting healthy living, and supporting daily living activities.

You will accompany clients to work, events, and appointments, while encouraging independence and decision-making. The position offers an hourly pay range of $18.00 to $20.00, with a $3,000 sign-on bonus and pre-employment screenings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Meet all pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Educate on human, legal, and civil rights as part of person-centered support.
• Promote healthy living and prevent illness.
• Support self-advocacy and individual choice in daily life.
• Accompany individuals to work, social activities, and community outings.
• Teach independent living skills and assist with personal care as needed.
• Provide transportation to appointments and accompany to activities.
• Document care provided and monitor progress.
• Connect individuals with resources for education, volunteering, or employment opportunities.
