Easterseals Blake Foundation in Tucson, AZ is hiring a Direct Support Professional to provide supportive services to individuals with intellectual, developmental, or physical disabilities, helping them live as independently as possible.

You will assist with personal care, housekeeping, transportation, and community activities, while following individual support plans and safety guidelines. A valid driver’s license and background check are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Three (3) months of caregiving experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsabilités

• Assists individuals with personal care and hygiene needs.
• Performs housekeeping tasks and daily living activities.
• Provides transportation to appointments, outings, and shopping.
• Guides community participation, budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Administers medications or assists with self-administration as prescribed.
• Maintains and updates individual support plans (ISP).
• Reports incidents and assists with forms as needed.
• Performs First Aid and CPR if required.
• Provides job coaching and on-the-job training to support job readiness.
