Job summary

Goodwill of South Central Ohio is hiring a Direct Support Professional to empower individuals with developmental and cognitive disabilities. You will provide compassionate, personalized support to promote safety, well-being, and community participation.

The role involves teamwork, documenting progress, transporting individuals, and following each ISP. Must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to complete required Ohio DODD trainings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Must complete Ohio DODD provider training and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals to achieve ISP goals for life, job skills, and community integration.
• Provide personal care and safety monitoring; assist with mobility and activities of daily living.
• Document daily progress and mileage/hours in BID and other systems.
• Transport individuals in company vehicle or approved personal vehicle as per ISP.
• Administer medications as trained and within legal guidelines.
