Job summary

Northeast Arc is hiring Direct Support Professionals to work in group homes across the North Shore. You will provide direct care, support residents in daily living, and help with community activities and independence.

The role requires CPR/FA/MAP certification, a valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and willingness to follow medical and safety protocols. Schedule includes evening and weekend shifts in Beverly, MA.

Qualifications

• Must be able to provide direct care and support, including documentation of health records and daily data.
• Strong ability to facilitate community experiences and skill development.
• Must have CPR/FA/MAP certification and be willing to maintain credentials.

Responsibilities

• Provide Direct Care and support the clinical and social needs of individuals receiving services.
• Document accurately in health records, daily logs, and policy-relevant communications.
• Facilitate community experiences to foster skill development and independence.
• Provide hands-on support in transfers, bathing, grooming, and dining protocols.
• Administer medications per MAPs and coordinate doctor visits or ER/hospital visits as needed.
• Maintain a safe work environment and ensure staffing ratios per contracts.
