Job summary

Northeast Arc in the North Shore region is hiring Direct Support Professionals to work in our group homes. You will help individuals live inclusive, independent lives at home and in the community, provide hands-on care, and support daily living activities.

Required: CPR/FA and MAP certifications, valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a commitment to safety. Sleep shifts are paid separately; the schedule includes evenings, overnights, and weekend hours.

Qualifications

• CPR/FA and MAP certification required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with mobility.
• Ability to stand, bend, and assist with daily living activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support clinical and social needs.
• Document health records and logs accurately.
• Foster community experiences to build independence.
• Assist with transfers, bathing, grooming and dining protocols.
• Administer medications per policies and coordinate with providers.
• Maintain a safe environment and appropriate staffing per contracts.
