Job summary

Northeast Arc is hiring Direct Support Professionals to work in our group homes located on the North Shore in Massachusetts. You will provide quality living supports, teach, support, and facilitate choices for individuals in their homes and communities.

Responsibilities include direct care, documentation in health records and logs, facilitating community experiences, and assisting with transfers, bathing, grooming, and meal protocols.

Qualifications

• CPR/FA/MAP certification is required.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable vehicle is required.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and assist with transfers.

Responsibilities

• Provide Direct Care and support the clinical and social needs of individuals.
• Document accurately in health records and logs.
• Facilitate meaningful community experiences to foster skills and independence.
• Provide hands-on home support including transfers, bathing, grooming, and dining protocols.
