Job summary

Northeast Arc in Peabody, MA is hiring Direct Support Professionals to join our team. You will provide quality living supports to individuals in residential programs or in the community, teaching, supporting, and facilitating choices in homes and communities.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, at least 1 year of Direct Support Care experience, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and CPR/FA & MAP certification. Shifts include daytime and weekend hours in Peabody, MA.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of Direct Support Care in a Residential Home.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds, stand for periods, bend, push wheelchairs, provide physical intervention as necessary.
• Current CPR/FA & MAP certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Direct Care and support the clinical and social needs of individuals.
• Document accurately in Health Records, logs and related documents per policy.
• Facilitate meaningful community experiences to foster skills, relationships and independence.
• Provide hands-on home supports including transfers, bathing, grooming and dining protocols.
