Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Lancaster, PA. The DSP helps individuals with intellectual disabilities or mental health challenges with daily living activities and growth in interpersonal skills, following the Individual Service Plan.

The position is contract - full time, 40 hours per week, paying $21 per hour. Benefits include health, dental, vision, life insurance and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Valid auto insurance.
• Complies with professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health Certificate.
• Meets federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Demonstrates ability to prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with intellectual disabilities or mental health challenges with daily living activities.
• Support growth and development of interpersonal skills.
• Follow Individual Service Plan guidance.
