Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is looking for a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Lititz, PA. The role is contract-full-time with 40 hours per week at $21 per hour, supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities or mental health challenges.

You will assist residents in daily living activities, follow individual plans, and work in home, community or residential settings to promote growth and independence.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Valid and current auto insurance.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health Certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Demonstrates ability to prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with intellectual disabilities or mental health challenges with growth and development of interpersonal skills and activities of daily living.
• Provide supports for activities of daily living and adaptive skills.
• Follow the Individual Service Plan for each resident/patient.
• Work directly with residents to support independence in home, community or residential settings.
