Job summary

Chimes is seeking a Direct Support Professional for Glen Park (Thurs-Sat 8a-8p) in Nottingham, MD. The role supports individuals with intellectual and behavioral challenges to live with dignity and independence in a team-based environment.

You will provide hands-on care, follow care plans, and help with daily living tasks while ensuring safety and respect in all interactions. Training is provided, with opportunities for growth within the organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in disability services preferred (not required—we train!).
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50+ lbs.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with 3+ years unsuspended driving history or 2+ years with clean record

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support with kindness and respect.
• Assist with personal care including dressing, toileting, hygiene, feeding, bathing and daily living skills.
• Follow individualized care plans and document progress.
• Administer medications in accordance with policy.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment.
• Use approved behavior support techniques.
• Encourage community engagement and participation.
• Travel between Residential and Day programs as needed
