Job summary

Purpose-SC is hiring Full Time Direct Support Professionals to provide support at our Kingstree, SC program. DSPs deliver respectful, empowering care and help clients reach daily goals in a therapeutic setting.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, being 21+, English literacy, and ability to lift up to 50-100 lbs with assistance. 12-hour shifts, in-person work, and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Valid South Carolina license if applicable.
• Regularly required to lift 25 lbs and occasionally 50–100 lbs (assisted).

Responsibilities

• Chart daily progress notes during each shift.
• Ensure daily care for clients.
• Assist clients with taking prescribed medication.
• Participate in community focused activities.
• Attend doctor's appointments with clients.
• Act quickly and responsibly in case of emergency.
