Job summary

Heartshare is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Woodside, NY to implement person-centered services, support individuals’ goals, and promote community inclusion. This part-time position requires compassionate care, documentation, and collaboration with families and program staff.

Initial offers are at $19 per hour with potential for increases based on certifications, training, and performance. Benefits include paid time off and a robust benefits package as part of Heartshare’s total

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or CNA strongly preferred but not required.
• One year or more experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Valid NYS driver’s license preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Implement individuals’ plans, consistent with their specific services, goals and outcomes.
• Promote and support inclusion of individuals in their community.
• Document necessary information and data accurately and on a timely basis.
