Job summary

Attain is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Eustis, FL to help individuals with developmental disabilities live safely, independently, and with dignity while building a meaningful career. As a DSP you will provide direct care and support with daily living, help individuals build independence, follow care plans, administer medications as required, and document health changes.

Strong English communication, reliability, and teamwork are essential; Attain provides company-paid training

Qualifications

• Ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Ability to complete and maintain required training and certifications, including CPR/First Aid, Medication Administration, PCM, Behavior Assistant training, and Core Assurances.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support with daily living and personal care.
• Help individuals build independence and achieve personal goals.
• Support community activities, choices, and meaningful participation.
• Follow individual care, behavioral, and support plans.
• Administer and document medications as required.
• Monitor health, safety, and changes in behavior or condition.
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment.
