Job summary

Attain is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Florida to support individuals with developmental disabilities to live safely, independently, and with dignity while pursuing meaningful careers. The role offers full-time hours and a competitive benefits package.

As a DSP, you will provide direct care, help with daily living tasks, and document medications and health changes while adhering to care plans and ensuring a positive, safe environment for clients.

Qualifications

• Ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Ability to complete and maintain required training and certifications, including CPR/First Aid, Medication Administration, PCM, Behavior Assistant training, and Core Assurances.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support with daily living and personal care.
• Help individuals build independence and achieve personal goals.
• Support community activities, choices, and meaningful participation.
• Follow individual care, behavioral, and support plans.
• Administer and document medications as required.
• Monitor health, safety, and changes in behavior or condition.
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment.
