Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Engage residents in activities of choice to support ISP goals.
• Provide transportation and supervision for residents as required.
• Record daily activities, problems and needs accurately in logs.
• Assist with personal hygiene and grooming to promote comfort.
• Assist with clothing changes to ensure resident comfort.
• Use safe body mechanics when lifting/moving residents and provide prescribed exercises.
• Check home safety at start of shift and report deficiencies.
• Conduct evacuation drills and document results.
• Follow emergency procedures for medical, fire, severe weather, and missing persons.
• Clean and sanitize appliances, surfaces, and bathrooms per guidelines.
• Report equipment issues to supervisor.
• Ensure confidentiality and uphold residents' rights.
