RHA Health Services, LLC is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide personalized support to individuals with disabilities and mental health needs. The DSP helps clients engage in their communities, express needs, and follow person-centered plans under supervision.

The role emphasizes advocacy, independence, and safe, ethical care, including assistance with daily living activities, transportation, and community involvement, with pay at $15.00/hour in Delaware.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years old and pass pre-employment screening.
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to person-centered support.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to foster independence while providing necessary support.
• Knowledge of disability rights, self-advocacy, and community integration principles.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and follow regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for individuals’ rights and civil liberties.
• Promote health and safety and wellness initiatives.
• Encourage self-advocacy and personal choice.
