Job summary

First Resources Corp. is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our Residential Services team in Oskaloosa, IA.

The DSP will support individuals with daily living skills, emotional well-being, and community involvement, on a part-time basis with two shifts per week. Responsibilities include assisting with groceries, hygiene, medication administration, mobility support using a Hoyer lift, and documenting progress on PCSPs, while maintaining strong communication with supervisors and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record and proof of auto insurance.
• Flexible to work varied shifts and fill in as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support clients with daily activities such as grocery shopping, errands, hygiene, and medication administration
• Assist with mobility needs, including two-person transfers and use of a Hoyer lift
• Help clients achieve personal goals like cooking, cleaning, and social integration
• Transport clients to appointments and community events
• Follow and document progress on Person Centered Service Plans (PCSPs)
• Communicate regularly with supervisors and team members
