Dungarvin is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver in Flora, Indiana. The role involves providing direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them live as independently as possible with dignity and respect.

The position offers multiple shifts, starting pay at $17 per hour, and a range of benefits including health insurance for FT employees, PTO, and paid training.

Qualifications

• Valid driver''s license required to transport persons served or for role duties.
• Experience with IDD, mental health or security preferred.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills required.
• 18 years or older; criminal background check required.
• Own vehicle and auto liability insurance may be required depending on role.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance to individuals we serve.
• Ensure the comfort, safety, and personal growth of the individuals we serve.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as moving, getting in/out of bed, dressing, bathing, toileting and personal hygiene.
• Perform housekeeping and laundry duties.
