Job summary

Alpine Learning Group is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP) in Paramus, NJ to empower autistic adults. You will deliver direct support, implement individualized teaching plans, and track learner progress in center, community, and employment settings.

This full-time 40-hour role reports to Clinical Supervisors and the Director of Adult & Transition Services. Services may occur on-site, in-home, or via distance learning based on program needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid New Jersey Driver's License is required.
• Ability to work a full-time, 40-hour schedule is required.
• Experience with autism is preferred.
• Experience supporting adults with disabilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to learners in center-based, community, volunteer, and employment settings.
• Implement individualized instructional and behavioral support programs.
• Provide job coaching at supported employment and volunteer sites.
• Teach functional, vocational, communication, and independent living skills using evidence-based instructional strategies.
• Collect, summarize, and report learner data.
• Supervise assigned learners throughout the day.
• Collaborate with supervisors and clinical staff on instructional and treatment plans.
• Attend staff meetings and required crisis intervention training.
