Laradon is seeking a Direct Support Professional for the Adult Day Program in Denver, CO. This on-site role supports individuals with developmental disabilities, implementing ISPS, providing training, and promoting independence.

The schedule is Monday–Friday, 7am–3pm, with a starting hourly salary range of $21.00–$24.60, plus benefits. You will work under the Program Manager, supervise and engage participants, document activities, and help build community connections while upholding safety and

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Two years of direct experience with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Physical requirements include the ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force and staying active for full workdays.

Responsibilities

• Implement, track and record adaptive and/or behavioral ISSPs.
• Complete and maintain paperwork per Laradon policy.
• Prevent and manage crises to provide a safe environment.
• Provide supervision and actively engage participants with positive reinforcement.
• Provide training in self-care, communication, and activities of daily living as per the Service Plan.
• Develop and implement habilitative activities per ISSPs.
• Develop, schedule and facilitate community opportunities.
• Build natural supports and community connections.
• Drive participants as necessary for program needs.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Be present at the residential setting and community locations as required.
