Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health in Winter Park, FL is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide care and behavioral support for adults with emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. This hands-on, mission-driven role offers hands-on training and a clear path for growth within a national nonprofit.

Starting pay is $17.00–$20.25 per hour with shift differentials up to $2.00/hr, plus education/certification pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• No Experience? No Problem! We offer a comprehensive two-week orientation and ongoing on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, meals).
• Help implement behavior support plans.
• Teach life, social, and communication skills.
• Respond to and de-escalate crisis situations.
• Maintain daily documentation.
• Transport to school, appointments, and community outings.
• Work closely with clinical treatment team.
