Job summary

ViaQuest is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our Middletown team, offering full-time and part-time shifts. The role involves providing direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes, with a focus on promoting independence and safety.

This position offers comprehensive training, including CPR/First Aid and medication administration, and a benefits package for full-time staff, along with PTO and flexible schedules.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Personal, reliable vehicle to transport individuals.
• Valid driver's license and car insurance.
• Motor Vehicle Record must meet ViaQuest's criteria.
• Able to push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, fostering independence, choice and safety.
• Supervising, teaching and assisting individuals in daily living activities.
• Completing household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean, safe living environment.

At ViaQuest Residential Services our DSPs provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes. Training for this position is provided in its entirety sono experience is required.
