Job summary

The Arc Carroll County Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a warm, residential community in Taneytown, MD.

You will help residents with daily living skills, meals, housekeeping, personal care, and transportation while promoting independence. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with minimal points.
• Intermediate computer/keyboard skills; quick learner of new systems.
• Clean drug screen and criminal record.
• CPR/First Aid and Certified Medication Technician trainings required.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with life skills and daily activities in a small residential home.
• Assist with meal planning and preparation, laundry, and light housework.
• Provide personal care and administer medications as directed.
• Provide transportation as needed to residents.
