Job summary

Ability Matters is expanding in Delaware County and seeking Direct Support Professionals to help individuals with autism and other disabilities gain independence and confidence within real-world community settings.

The role offers both full-time and part-time schedules, with a focus on personalized support, life skills development, and advocacy for inclusion in gyms, libraries, restaurants, and events.

Qualifications

• Education: 2-year degree preferred, not required.
• Team players who take initiative and have a passion for inclusion.
• Strong communication, patience, teamwork, and problem-solving.
• Experience is helpful but not required. Heart, attitude, and willingness to learn matter most.
• Requirements: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
