Dungarvin in the United States is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver to work directly with individuals who have intellectual and developmental disabilities, supporting daily living, community participation, and personal goals.

This full-time role offers a fixed starting rate of $18.50 per hour, with weekend and holiday schedules available, plus a robust benefits package, 401(k) with employer match, PTO, mileage reimbursement, and paid training.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 and legal eligibility to work.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Willingness to assist individuals with personal cares and activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Assist with activities of daily living, meal preparation, shopping, budgeting, and community activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive living environment.
• Promote independence and person-centered supports.
• Support individuals in achieving ISPs and document progress accordingly.
• Observe and communicate changes to supervisors and team members.
• Transport individuals to appointments and community outings as needed.
• Complete accurate and timely electronic documentation.

• Provide direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including those with potential behavioral support needs.
• Assistwith activities of daily living, household cleaning, meal preparation, shopping, budgeting, personal goals, appointments, community activities, and engagement.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive living environment.
• Promote independence, personal choice, and life skills development.
• Support individuals in achieving goals andobjectivesoutlined in their Individual Service Plans (ISPs) and document progress accordingly.
• Observe and communicate changes, concerns, and progress to supervisors and team members.
• Transport individuals to appointments, activities, and community outings as needed.
• Completeaccurateandtimelyelectronic documentationin accordance withprogram and regulatory requirements.

Required (Must-Have)

• Minimum of 18 years of age
• Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance
• Basic computer skills for documentation and communication

• Willingness toassistindividuals with personal cares and activities of daily living (ADLs)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, or squat for extended periods
• Ability tolift upto 50lbs
