Job summary

Dungarvin is seeking experienced Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to join our Day Program. DSPs mentor and engage individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through art, music, games, and life enrichment activities, while providing direct care and documenting progress.

We offer a part-time schedule (Mon-Fri 12:30pm–5:30pm), competitive pay at $21.75/hour with raises to $24.25/hour over time, and a comprehensive benefits package including health, spending accounts, life

Qualifications

• Part-time schedule, Monday–Friday, 12:30pm–5:30pm.
• Experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred.
• Ability to document daily progress and engage participants in activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead workshops and activities (art, music, games, reading, cooking, AV) to engage individuals.
• Provide direct care support and behavioral interventions as needed.
• Document daily progress accurately and timely.

As a DSP you would coach and foster engagement by leading workshops designed to support individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.DSP's mentor and continuously engage individuals and lead groups through art, music, games, audio/visual, cooking, reading and other life enrichment activities. They also provide direct care support and behavioral interventions as needed and ensure timely and accurate documentation outlining daily progress.

Must be able to work one of the following part-time shift option:

• Monday-Friday 12:30pm - 5:30pm (25 hrs/week)

Wage & Benefits

• Competitive Pay:$21.75/hour
• Full Range Scale: $21.75 - $24.25per hour.The starting rate for this position is fixed at $21.75 per hour. Pay increases occur over time and are tied to tenure/length of employment with Dungarvin.
