Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver

Dungarvin is dedicated to providing person-centered support services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and complex medical needs across 15 states. We are seeking compassionate, reliable Direct Support Professionals to work directly with clients, helping them live independently.

Base Pay

$18.50 per hour (fixed rate). Retention bonus up to $2,000.

What You’ll Do

• Provide hands‑on care: assist with personal care, meal prep, transportation, housekeeping, laundry, fostering independence.
• Create a safe, welcoming environment: maintain clean, safe space to support clients' personal goals.
• Mentor & guide: supervise, provide positive reinforcement and guidance to help clients achieve aspirations.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Passion for helping others.
• Physical stamina to stay on feet, walk, stand, lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Basic computer skills for tracking progress and documentation.
• Strong communication skills: reading, writing, documenting care, following support plans, collaborating with internal and external team members.
