New Horizons is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide hands-on daily support and guidance for individuals with developmental disabilities in North Hills, CA. This part-time role offers fully paid training starting day one and benefits eligibility after meeting the part-time criteria.

Qualified candidates must be legally eligible to work in the United States, be at least 21, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and have strong English skills.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Minimum of 21 years of age at application.
• High School Diploma or state-certified equivalent.
• Full professional proficiency in verbal and written English.
• Minimum of three years of licensed driving experience.
• Valid California Driver’s License with insurability standards.
• Willingness and ability to operate an 8-passenger vehicle.
• Completion of pre-employment screenings including background check, drug screening, physical evaluation and TB clearance.

Location: North Hills, CA

Pay Rate: $23.00/hr

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM; 32.5 hours/week (30-min unpaid lunch)

Requirements

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Minimum of 21 years of age at the time of application.
• High School Diploma or a state-certified equivalent.
• Full professional proficiency in verbal and written English.
• Minimum of three (3) years of licensed driving experience.
• Valid California Driver’s License with a driving record that meets agency insurability standards.
• Willingness and ability to safely operate an 8-passenger agency vehicle.
• Successful completion of all pre-employment screenings, including a criminal background check, comprehensive drug screening, physical evaluation, and tuberculosis (TB) clearance.
