Job summary

New Horizons is hiring Direct Support Professionals to provide hands-on daily support and guidance for individuals with developmental disabilities in North Hills, CA. This part-time role offers a stable schedule, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–4:00 PM, totaling 32.5 hours per week with a 30-minute unpaid lunch.

No prior caregiving experience needed; comprehensive training starts day one. Candidates must be 21+, have a High School Diploma or equivalent, and be able to drive in California with a valid

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Minimum of 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Full professional proficiency in verbal and written English.
• Minimum of three (3) years of licensed driving experience.
• Valid California Driver’s License with a driving record that meets agency insurability standards.
• Willingness and ability to safely operate an 8-passenger agency vehicle.
• Successful completion of all pre-employment screenings, including a criminal background check, comprehensive drug screening, physical evaluation, and tuberculosis (TB) clearance.
