Zusammenfassung

Avancer Homes, LLC is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to provide compassionate supervision and support in residential settings for individuals with IDD. You will implement programs under supervision and help promote independence and dignity.

This role requires a high school diploma, Illinois DSP certification or ability to obtain it, and a commitment to safety, reporting, and teamwork. Shifts include days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
• Be currently certified as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Illinois or able to complete required DSP training and certification.
• Successfully complete required background checks, training, orientation, and other applicable employment requirements.
• Be able to report to the assigned Avancer Homes work location as scheduled.

Aufgaben

• Have thorough knowledge of individuals' programs and implement them as outlined.
• Implement individual goals and programs as outlined in the ISP.
• Electronically document data regarding individuals' programs.
• Maintain required daily documentation regarding incidents, activities, and occurrences.
• Assist with medication administration and activities of daily living (e.g., eating, hygiene, dressing, meal prep, housekeeping, laundry).
• Assist individuals with access to community resources, services, activities, and appointments.
• Assist with management of individuals' financial resources as required by their program.
• Ensure a safe, comfortable environment that fosters independence and dignity.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well‑maintained residential home and participate in inspections.
• Provide input to Residential Manager about matters concerning individuals served.
