Job summary

Avancer Homes LLC is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to join our Persimmon CILA home in Genoa, Illinois. Starting pay up to $16.00–$25.00 per hour based on experience, with a $1,000 sign-on bonus. Full-time and part-time positions available across all shifts.

This role provides personal care to individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities in a supportive residential setting. Training, growth, and a strong team environment are emphasized.

Qualifications

• DSP certification or ability to become certified through our paid training.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Have reliable transportation to shifts.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Must pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal care needs and ADLs.
• Assist with household tasks, meal prep, cooking and cleaning; maintain a safe home.
• Monitor individuals and provide redirection as needed.
• Document daily activities, concerns and progress notes as required.
• Participate in and coordinate activities, including driving company vehicles when needed.
• Provide a safe, abuse- and neglect-free environment at all times.
