Job summary

Avancer Homes LLC is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to join our Persimmon CILA home in Genoa, Illinois. We offer full- and part-time positions with starting pay up to $16.00–$25.00 based on experience and a $1000 sign-on bonus.

DSP roles involve assisting individuals with daily living, documenting progress, and supporting participation in activities in-home and in the community. Growth, training paid, and a supportive team environment are emphasized.

Qualifications

• DSP certification or ability to become certified through paid training.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation to shifts.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Must pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal care needs – all ADL’s.
• Assist with household tasks, meal prep, cooking and cleaning; maintain a safe, healthy home environment and promote learning.
• Monitor individuals and provide redirection as needed.
• Document activities, concerns and progress notes as required.
• Participate in in-home and community activities, may include driving company vehicles.
• Provide an abuse and neglect free environment at all times.
