Job summary

Faithful at Home Care in South Central Pennsylvania is hiring caregivers to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities at home and in the community. Immediate openings with competitive hourly wages and eligibility for a $3,000 Quality Care Bonus.

Responsibilities include helping individuals reach independence, personal care, community activities, meal prep, and supervision. Applicants must be 18+, have reliable transportation, be able to read and write English, be authorized

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Able to read and write English and authorization to work in the U.S.
• Able to obtain clearances as defined by regulations.
• Stable physical condition to meet needs of position.
• Professional, pleasant disposition, honest and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Help adults reach their goals of becoming more independent.
• Offer guidance, instruction, role modeling and support.
• Accompany individuals into the community for social activities.
• Assist with personal care as needed.
• Provide supervision, coaching, and medication reminders.
• Assist with meal preparation and routine homemaking duties.
