Care In Minds LLC is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide in-home and community-based support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across Pennsylvania. DSPs empower clients to live self-directed lives by assisting with daily living skills and ISPs within ODP guidelines.

This is a meaningful role with direct, positive impact on clients and their communities.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must obtain and maintain PA clearances: PSP background check, Child Abuse History Clearance, FBI fingerprinting.
• Must complete ODP-required training (approx. 65 hours).
• Medication Administration certification (or willingness to obtain).
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Care In Minds is hiring compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide in-home and community-based support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout Pennsylvania.

As a DSP, you will empower individuals to live fulfilling, self-directed lives by assisting with daily living skills, community integration, and the implementation of Individual Support Plans (ISPs). This role operates under Pennsylvania Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) guidelines and the Everyday Lives framework.

What you'll do

• Provide direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
• Support community integration and participation in recreational activities
• Implement Individual Support Plans (ISPs) and document progress
• Administer medications as prescribed and trained
• Transport individuals to appointments and community activities
• Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting
• Communicate effectively with families, team members, and supervisors

What you'll need

• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Valid Pennsylvania driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Must obtain and maintain all required PA clearances:
• Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Background Check
• Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance
• FBI Federal Criminal History (fingerprinting)
• Must complete ODP-required training (approximately 65 hours)
• Medication Administration certification (or willingness to obtain)
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Prior experience supporting individuals with IDD preferred but not required
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility as needed
• Reliable transportation required
