Job summary

ViaQuest is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP) in Zanesville, OH. The role provides direct care to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes, with on-site responsibilities and a strong training program welcoming newcomers with no prior experience.

Paid training includes CPR/First Aid and Medication Administration; full-time benefits, PTO, and a 401k are offered along with diverse schedules and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Personal, reliable vehicle to transport individuals served.
• Valid driver's license and car insurance.
• Motor Vehicle Record must meet ViaQuest's Authorized Driver Criteria.
• Ability to push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs and to climb, balance, kneel and crouch.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, promoting independence, choice and safety.
• Supervise, teach and assist individuals in all aspects of life.
• Complete household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean living environment.

At ViaQuest Residential Services our DSPs provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes. Training for this position is provided in its entirety so no experience is required .
