Job summary

ViaQuest is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Youngstown, OH. This on-site role offers Full Time & Part Time openings with a pay range of $17.00–$18.00 per hour. Training is provided; no prior experience is required.

Interview days are on Tuesdays from 10 AM to 12 PM at our office location: 4740 Belmont Ave, Youngstown, OH 44505. Bring your OH driver’s license, proof of eligibility, vehicle, and education documents to interview.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Own a personal, reliable vehicle for transporting individuals served.
• Valid OH driver’s license and car insurance.
• Motor Vehicle Record must meet ViaQuest's Authorized Driver Criteria.
• Must be able to push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs; able to climb, balance, kneel and crouch.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities – promote independence, choice and empowerment while ensuring health and safety.
• Supervising, teaching and assisting individuals in all aspects of daily living.
• Completing household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean, safe living environment.

At ViaQuest Residential Services our DSPs provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities in intermediate care facilities and their homes. Training for this position is provided in its entirety sono experience is required.
