Job summary

ViaQuest Residential Services is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Troy, OH. This on-site role offers paid training, full benefits for full-time staff, and opportunities for career advancement in the IDD field.

Interviews are welcome every Monday at our Dayton area office. Bring required documents and be prepared to discuss the role and responsibilities, including direct care and fostering independence for individuals served.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Personal reliable vehicle to transport individuals served.
• Valid driver's license and car insurance.
• Motor Vehicle Record must meet ViaQuest criteria.
• Able to push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and to climb, balance, kneel and crouch.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, promoting independence, choice and empowerment while ensuring health and safety.
• Supervise, teach and assist individuals in daily activities and routines.
• Complete household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean, safe living environment.

At ViaQuest Residential Services our DSPs provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities their homes. Training for this position is provided in its entirety sono experience is required.
