Job summary

The Mary T. Family of Companies is hiring Direct Support Professionals in Winsted, MN. You will assist individuals with disabilities with daily activities, personal care, mobility, transportation, and meal preparation, including medication administration. Evening and overnight shifts are available, with 30+ hours per week eligible for benefits.

No prior experience required; paid training and orientation are provided, and there is room for advancement in a family-owned company with strong values.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18+ with valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and handle mobility tasks.
• Pass criminal background and motor vehicle checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal cares (bathing, grooming, hygiene).
• Provide mobility support and transfers.
• Support transportation and community activities.
• Administer medications as directed and maintain safety.

Description

Direct Support Professionals serve individuals with disabilities by assisting with personal cares (bathing, toileting, grooming, hygiene, etc.), mobility support and transfer assistance, transportation and support for community outings and activities, medication administration, housekeeping/cleaning duties, and meal preparation.

Please note this position is located in Winsted, MN.

Schedule: Full time evenings (3P-10P) and full time overnights (10P -8A OR 9p-8a) available. 30 or more hours per week is benefits eligible!

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older with a High School Diploma or GED
• Possess a valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and handle postural challenges like bending, kneeling, and twisting
• The ability to pass a criminal background and motor vehicle record check
• A willingness to work hard and a desire to help others
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer skills
