Job summary

The Mary T. Family of Companies is hiring Direct Support Professionals in Severna Park, MD for 1:1 care for a person with disabilities. DSPs assist with personal cares, transportation, medication administration, housekeeping, and meals, providing consistent supervision and support for daily activities.

Prior Registered Behavior Technician experience is preferred. We offer competitive pay ($17–$18.50/hour), paid training, daily pay option, 401k with employer match, and robust full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older with a High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of previous direct care experience is required.
• Possess a valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• The ability to pass a criminal background and motor vehicle record check.
• A willingness to work hard and a desire to help others.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with disabilities with personal cares, transportation, community outings and activities, medication administration, housekeeping, and meal preparation.
• Provide 1:1 supervision, redirection, and support for day-to-day activities.

Description

TheMary T. Family of Companies is now hiring Direct Support Professionals in the Severna Park, MD area for 1:1 ratio care for an individual with disabilities.

Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) serve individuals with disabilities by assisting with personal cares (bathing, toileting, grooming, hygiene, etc.), transportation and support for community outings and activities, medication administration, housekeeping and cleaning duties, and meal preparation. This position will work with one client, providing consistent, personalized supervision, redirection, and support for day-to-day activities. Previous experience as a Registered Behavior Technician is preferred.

• $17+ per hour, depending on experience, education, and/or relevant credentials

• Full-time: Sunday - Wednesday from 11:00 PM - 8:00 AM (36 hrs/week)
• Part-time: Saturday - Sunday from 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM (16 hrs/week)
• Part-time: Saturday - Sunday from 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (16 hrs/week)
• Part-time: Thursday - Saturday from 11:00 PM - 8:00 AM (27 hrs/week)

Requirements:
